Graduate Students

Currently graduate research assistantships are available for the project:
  • "Detection of invasive forest pests (insects, plant diseases, and plants) using satellites, drones, sensors, and artificial intelligence."
Students with entomology, forestry, or botany background are preferred, but not required. If you are interested, please e-mail Dr. Yong-Lak Park:
  • A letter expressing interest in the project
  • Resume or CV
  • Copy of unofficial transcripts. 
Undergraduate Students

Paid internships or student worker positions are available for these research projects:
  • Pollinator bees (non honeybees) 
  • Invasive insect and plant pest survey in the Allegheny National Forest (PA) and WV using satellites and drones 
  • Invasive plant management using natural enemy insects 
Students in the Davis College are preferred, but not required. If you are interested, please e-mail Dr. Yong-Lak Park and specify which project you're interested in.
